More On Breech Births

Because you asked.......... More information and resources on Breech Births.

Here are two books devoted exclusively to breech births.  Breech Birth by Benna Waites can be purchased through Amazon.com and I have seen a copy or two at half.com  Breech Birth Woman-Wise by Maggie Banks will need to be ordered from New Zealand, unless you can find a used copy in the states. Both are excellent books.  I read Breech Birth first and loved it!  The different types of breech babes, studies, risks and benefits, vaginal birth vs cesarean section as well as the politics behind breech births.

  1. Launa, This is Rachel and you would be so proud of me because I had a natural breech delivery with my baby who was born in Sept! It was the most amazing experience and not much different than my other births, just a few more pushes at the end for her head to come out. Thank you for helping me at the start of the pregnancy and for all you do for mothers! So do you have a birth center in Cache Valley now or just in Idaho? What part of Idaho are you in again?

    Take care,
    Rachel

  2. Congrats Rachel!!! I am so glad you had a healthy happy pregnancy and birth! That's absolutely wonderful. I miss you!! So different than the other births.... better or worse? You are more than welcome, although I didn't do anything. I have a victorian birth suite in Cache Valley and that's where I practice. I do not currently practice in Idaho, although maybe that will change one day. All my mums this month are coming from Idaho to deliver in Utah. We are doing great! If you make it up to Logan, please stop by and see us or come to one of our events. Luv & miss ya - Mama Launa
